In the center of Europe, at the heart of the "Frankische Schweiz",
one of the most beautiful ditricts in Germany, criss-crossed
with enchanting mountains and hills and characterized by stately
valleys, lies the old, interesting town of Waischenfeld, well
known to many for its good recreational possibilities and Franconian
hospitality and gastronomy. Nestled in this cheerful Upper
Franconian setting, on rising ground leading off from the Wiesent,
one of the best filled trout rivers in Germany, you will find
the industrial plant of GEROH. GEROH was
founded in 1946 in Berlin, in the midst of the ruins of the
lost war. The two-man firm, whose first production machine
was a lathe dug out of the rubble and ruins, quickly developed
into a modern company with head offices now in Waischenfeld.
The spectrum of our production, originally consisting of children`s
toys, pencil sharpening machines and miniature compressors
and soon joined by telescopic crank masts has been developed
up to specially designed, excellently styled, most modern antenna
bearing systems for any imaginable use.
