PA-5050A HF 1 KW Power Amplifier


 

The PA 5050A HF 1kW is a low cost solid-state device each designed for continuous-duty operation employing four independent PA modules.The integrated design concept minimizes the effect of single point failures by providing for the graceful degradation of system power output. Early detection of a fault prevents catastrophic failure by shutting down the malfunctioning PA module and associated power supply module. Utilization of the latest power devices provides an extremely reliable end-product with MTBD figures in excess of 17,000 hours. The power amplifier continuously monitors all critical performance parameters.

  • Input power: full power output at +24 dBm input
  • 3rd order IM products: -30 dB minimum (-36 dB typical) PEP
  • Harmonics and spurious:
    • 1.6 to 30 MHz - 60 dBc
    • below 1.6 MHz - 50 dBc

  • Gain flatness +/- 0.25 dB over 1.6 to 30 MHz
    (with internal ALC using an internal RS-485 command)
  • Power requirements: 180-260 VAC, 47-440 Hz single-phase

  • Load impedance: 50 ohms nominal
